The "W" Family

I always love taking pictures of families with kids (especially young kids) because of the fun and variety they bring to a photo session. It always creates an extra challenge to keep everyone's attention and get a good smile out of everyone at the same time, and I love a good challenge. This was another one of my favorite sessions that I've done because of the fun and energetic personalities that each person brought with them. They are seriously such a cute family and the three boys are such good friends. I love being with siblings who love playing together, and it definitely shows through these photos!

The "H" Family

We were lucky to get a decently warm day with sunshine for this session which made for the perfect setting and created some great photo opportunities. I absolutely loved working with this family and capturing some pictures for them! They all had such different personalities that made for a very engaging and fun session. Their little boy was absolutely adorable with beautiful piercing blue eyes, and both of his parents were great to play with him and get some good smiles out of him. By the end of the session, he was having a blast making funny faces and playing around with them. I always love seeing the end result of a family photo session, and this is no exception. Amber & Josh Engagements

I did my first engagement session a couple of weeks ago at the Gaylor Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville... and I loved it! The majority of my photo sessions are outside using all natural light, so it was a bit tricky to try and get good lighting and pictures indoors. I had a great time following Amber and Josh around - they were so much fun to work with! Good luck to you both with the upcoming wedding!

Porter {9 Months} & Evelyn {2 Years}

I took some pictures of these two cute kiddos about 5 months ago and was thrilled when I was asked to take some updated photos of them! Most babies and toddlers take some time to warm up and give me some real smiles, but these two smiled and giggled right from the start. Evelyn is such a fun, active little girl and I had a blast chasing her around trying to get some good shots. And Porter.. wow. He should be a baby model for Johnson's Baby Wash. What a beautiful boy! I hope I'll be able to take some more pictures of them in the future.

The "C" Family

I did a maternity shoot with this sweet couple this past summer, and they were kind enough to ask me to do a family session with their now 4-month old baby boy! It's been so fun to see their family grow and to finally see their sweet little peanut.

The "H" Family

This was my first family photo shoot that included a dog, and it was definitely a new challenge! But at the same time it was so much fun. This family was great to work with and were all so friendly. Fall is my favorite time of year, especially for pictures. And these pictures did not disappoint!
